Last Monday February 14th 2022  the Academy Gallery of Florence inaugurated the interesting exhibition ”Michelangelo: the bronze effigy by Daniele da Volterra”.

For the first time all the ancient Michelangelo’s bronze busts, made by Daniele da Volterra, coming from some of the most immportant museums such as the Louvre, the Museum Jacquemart-André of Paris and the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archeology of Oxford, will be gathered. The exhibit and the dedicated conference have to shed light to problems of chronology and casting, helped by scientic reserches. Until June 19th 2022.
