Verrocchio's painting is back to the Uffizi Gallery
Until  the 19th of February 2023 at the Uffizi Gallery of Florence a very important painting by Andrea del Verrocchio, Leonardo da Vinci’s teacher will be on show. The large painted table representing the Holy Conversation with the saints Zanobi, Francis, John the Baptist and Niccolò, also called Pala Macinghi, from the name of the family who commissioned it, was left on deposit in a little church near Grassina, village not far from Florence, for almost a century and now is back to the museum for a special exhibition.

The masterpiece has just been restored by the Institute of Restoration  Opificio delle Pietre Dure of Florence and it will be displayed at the second floor of the Gallery between Leonardo’s and Michelangelo’s room. Reserve a private tour with your licensed guide of Florence!
