A marble pianoforte

After Michelangelo’s passion for the marble of Carrara, where he used to go and select the best pieeces of marble for his famous statues visible in many museums in Florence, such as the Academy Gallery and the Bargello,  another artist, more contemporary, David Bryan, seems to be fond of the famous white stone. In fact he has commissioned to the atelier “Gym, la civiltà del marmo” (Gym, the marble civilization) a marble pianoforte. The instrument will be made in wood and then cover with marble. The artist who plays in the rock group of Bon Jovi, after meeting the mayor of Carrara, promised to play in the quarries.
