Until  September 18 2011  The National Museum of Bargello of Florence shows the exhibition L’acqua , la pietra, il fuoco. Bartolomeo Ammannati scultore (The water, the stone and the fire. Bartolomeo Ammannati sculptor), to celebrate the 5th  centenary of his birth. The exhibition mainly wants to point out the three important fountains the artist made: the one for the Salone dei Cinquecento in the Signoria Palace, that one of  Neptune in the Signoria square and the fountain for the Villa Medici  di Castello  with the bronze group of Hercules  and Anteo, just restored and displayed  at the entrance of the exhibit. Do not miss the wonderful Medici Genius with the original wax model and  drawings, sketches and documents.
