At the Modern Art Gallery of the Pitti Palace in Florence until January 16th 2011 the exhibition “Ruggito” (Roar), dedicated to Antonio Ligabue, a XX century’s artist who describes his existential problems painting self-portraits and domestic and wild animals with an intense expressive strength and an incredible chromatic energy.
It consists of   77 works among which  53 paintings, 16 scultures and 8 drawings.
