Three never-before-seen works by Bronzino are on restauration at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence and they will be ready for the exibition running from September 24, 2010 to January 23, 2011 at Florence's Palazzo Strozzi.
They are a painted Crucifix commissioned by Bartolomeo Panciatichi, the painting Venus, Love and Jealousy (lateral panel of the Altarpiece of Besançon) and the painting representing Jesus carrying the cross ( Giorgio Vesari never wrote of the existence). Do not loose the opportunity of visiting the exibit which will be the event of the year! Do reserve an official local guide to be brought through the masterpieces of this great master, official painter at the Medici's court.
