Until April 30 2016 you can visit the exhibition Carlo Portelli . Eccentric painter between Rosso Fiorentino e Vasari at the Academy Gallery of Florence.

The exhibit consists of about 50 pieces among paintings, drawings and documents  which may help in showing everybody a painter mainly famous among scholars. It is a great opportunity of knowing his fantasy and his extravagance. An absolute masterpiece is the Immacolate Conception painted in 1566 for the Ognissanti Church of Florence. Tha painting is part of the rich collection of XVI century paintings preserved at the Galleria dell’Accademia.
