If you are fond of art visit Florence off the crowd,  in low season!  A  few days ago the city started recuperating its spaces: the squares are less crowded,  you do not risk any more to be pushed, the streets are no more full of infinite queues of turist groups. You have no more to line up in front of the main museums: at the Galleria dell' Accademia you can almost enter directly, without waiting.
