Since April 29 2014 in the Uffizi Gallery of Florence  the rooms belonging to the Armeria of the Medici (rooms from 19 to 23)  will open again,  after a long restoration, renovation  and updating of systems and lights.  44 paintings, which belong to different areas of the Italian Renaissance,  are visible  in these nice rooms with original frescos on the ceilings. Among the most important painters  we can mention Mantegna and Antonello da Messina.
