The fantastic creatures by the belgian artist Koen Vanmechelen are on  show at the Uffizi Gallery of Florence from January 18 until March 20 2022. The 30 works, done appositely for the rooms of the Uffizi, point out the primordial concepts, which, since ever feed the human imagination: life-death, human-divine, spiritual-terrein, natural-artificial. The exhibition is related to the masterpieces of the Florentine collection and represents an evocative journey, a kind of hymnus to the power of life and the regenerating strenth of natural world.
