The cooperation between the Institution Casa Buonarroti in Florence and the Veneranda Ambrosiana Library in Milan and the cultural association MetaMorfosi produced several events and exhibitions from the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2012 for celebrating the two genius of Renaissance: Leonardo and Michelangelo.

The Portrait of musician by Leonardo, of the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, will be in Rome at the Musei Capitolini

Michelangelo: the Little Crucifix of Casa Buonarroti will be at the Ambrosiana Library in Milan. the small unfinished wooden cross is considered to be one of the latest work of Michelangelo.
