Since last September 17th   the Strozzi Palace in Florence hosts the exhibition  Money and Beauty.  Bankers, Botticelli and the Bonfires of Vanity. The exhibit shows the birth of modern banking system and the followed economical boom which created the greatest artistic season of  western world. Visitors can feel immerse in the life of those families who controlled the economy and who became art patrons, promoting and supporting the works of some of the most important artist of ever. The exhibition analyses the system that bankers used to built up their immense fortunes, but shows even works by Botticelli, Beato Angelico, Piero del Pollaiolo, Della Robbia, made possible by that flourishing economy.
