The Museum of the Church of Santa Maria Novella in Florence is going to change the entrance: it will be from the Square Station, near the abse of the Church, where nowadays we have the Turist Information Office.  The acces to the musuem will be through the Chiostrino dei morti, the Cloister of the dead. The last municipality Council established a summ of 500.000 euros for the restauration of the frescoes in the Chiostrino, closed to public since 1999. The Chiostrino is part of the huge complex of the monastry of Santa Maria Novella, including even the Chiostro Grande (the big Cloister) and the magnificent Farmacia di Santa Maria Novella, the famous parfume, creme, soap laboratory, where the ancient recipies of the friars are still used.  A must. Do include the visit in your guided tour of Florence!
