Until April 2 2025 the Museo Novecento of Florence presents the exhibition Retroscena- Storie di Resistenza e dissidenza (Backstage - Stories of Resistence and Dissidence. Inside the Collection Alberto Della Ragione a selection of works of masters who suffered the Fascism in different ways and lived on their skin the war, the racial laws, the cultural persecution and the civic war,shows the relatioship between their work of artists and one of the darkest season of Italian recent history. Some of them, such as Mario Mafai, Antonietta Raphaël, Renato Guttuso, were hosted in Della Ragione's villa outside Genoa to escape from persecutions, just to know how much Alberto Della Ragione considered them.
