The National Geographic will support the research of Professor Maurizio Seracini who has being working for years on the possibility of finding the lost frescoes of the Battaglia di Anghiari by Leonardo da Vinci in the Salone dei Cinquecento in the Signoria Palace in Florence. Behind the walls where nowadays Vasari’s frescoes are, Terry Garcia, vice director of the National Geographic and professor Seracini are sure to be able, with the help of technology, to bring back to the world the lost frescoes by Leonardo da Vinci. The magazine will have exclusive rights for 250,000 dollars.
