From September 18 2019 until January 12 2020 at the Pitti Palace of Florence a great exhibition Shaped by fire. Bronze sculpture in the Florence of the last Medici". The exhibit shows a selection of bronze statues by Giambologna (Jean de Boulogne), by his pupils and by the most important master sof early XVII century. Another section points out  works by Giovanni Battista Foggini and Massimiliano Soldani Benzi, leaders of a great renovation. Then the exhibit considers the masterpieces made by Giuseppe Piamontini, Girolamo Ticciati, Giovacchino Fortini, Lorenzo Merlini and many more, who between the end of the XVII century and the beginning of the XVIII century will be landmarks for bronze sculpture in Europe.
