In Florence, at the Academy Gallery and at the Museo Horne, until the end of September there is the exibition “Virtues of Love. Wedding paintings in the Florence of Quattrocento ( XV century ). It consists of over 40 painted panels belonging to different museums from all over the world. Most of them are front panels of dowry chests, head boards, parts of beds, made on the occasion of weddings and rapresentings different subjects mainly related to the life of bride and bridegroom, female virtues, behavings.
