At the Uffizi Gallery of Florence, until August 28 2016 an unusual exhibition shows great examples of  wooden painted statues and relieves of the XV century. Through statues of Virgin Mary, Saints,  Crucifix, relives and frames the curator Alfredo Bellandi put in evindence even the tight collaboration between sculptors and artisans. Actually it is a way  to know better some of the most famous wooden carvers: the brothers Giuliano and Benedetto da Maiano, the brothers Giuliano, Antonio e Francesco da Sangallo, Francesco e Leonardo Del Tasso e Baccio da Montelupo.
